On challenging our Jerusalem perspectives

The Holy city, the city of gold, the city of conflicts, the city of peace; such are the many names that describe this place that captures our imaginations and has sent pilgrims throughout the ages flocking and trekking to se her sites and colors. How we name places has an important impact on how we see them and associate with the many faces and different fabrics they wear. Identity is an important aspect of everyone’s sense of self and much of our identity is linked to our names and titles. My name is Amir Katz. I am my name, so to speak.
