First and most importantly, we hope you’re healthy, safe and able to make the best of this catastrophe affecting us right now. Finding ourselves so vulnerable has been scary and yet, it’s inspiring to see so many people supporting each other in new ways. As a tour guide constantly running around the country, it’s been (mostly) wonderful to be at home with my lovely wife, 3- year old daughter, and to be a more consistent presence in their lives. Though tourism is dormant at the moment, this downtime has given me the chance to stop, reflect & make time for my family and for you, my friends, followers, and future colleagues.
We’ve been working these past months to offer you a new series of wine tours to tease your palate and expand horizons :
‘Walking with Wine-Jaffa’: a tale of peasants and pashas in Ottoman times
‘Walking with Wine-Tel Aviv’: kibbutz and kiosk in the age of British rule
Bi-weekly ‘group vineyard tours’ to The Judean Hills and to Mount Carmel
While we won’t be able to rollout as we had hoped for the Passover/Easter spring season, we do want to reach out to you, our friends, past clients, and future guests to share what’s to come. In the meantime, we invite you to take a look at our latest video as part of our new vlog series. Each week we’ll try and bring you a new video sharing a different topic from the different tours, wineries, and sites we visit from around Israel. Also, feel free to check out our newly upgraded website and the tours we’re offering (someday) to mixed groups, VIP private clients, and to businesses and offices here in Israel.
If you’ve travelled with us in the past, and enjoyed your experience, please leave a review here that will hopefully inspire future travelers and remind us of the good times we’ve had.
Additionally, you can support us by purchasing a gift card on the website which allows us to stay afloat in these crazy waters, and you can redeem this purchase when quarantine ends.
From our family to your,
Amir Katz
